This Privacy Policy explains how helpem.ai (“helpem,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use helpem.ai and related web/mobile web applications (the “Service”).

3. Information We Collect

  • Account data from sign-in providers (Google or Apple), such as email and basic profile identifiers.
  • Profile information you provide: display name, first name, last name, phone number, and date of birth. All non-name fields are optional.
  • Profile photo, if you upload one.
  • Operational app data needed to provide core features and a high-quality user experience (appointments, todos, routines, groceries, tribe memberships and messages).
  • Web Push notification subscriptions and your personal notification preferences (timing windows, opt-in toggles).
  • Calendar tokens from connected providers (Google, Apple), stored encrypted at rest.
  • Technical/session data needed for security and operation (session tokens, basic device/browser metadata).
  • Subscription and billing records required to process payments and maintain your plan status.

4. Voice and Transcript Handling

  • We do not retain voice recordings.
  • We do not retain voice transcripts as standalone records.
  • If voice is used, processing is limited to what is operationally necessary to provide the feature and user experience.

5. How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts.
  • Process subscriptions and billing.
  • Send service and account communications.
  • Enforce terms, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not share user data for retargeting or advertising. We only disclose data to technical providers as needed to operate the Service (for example infrastructure, authentication, and payment processing), or when required by law.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details.

8. Cookies and Analytics

We use only cookies/session technologies that are operationally necessary for login, security, and core functionality. We currently do not use retargeting pixels and do not run Google Analytics in the app.

9. Global Availability

The Service is offered worldwide. By using the Service, you understand your data may be processed in jurisdictions where our technical infrastructure operates, including the United States.

10. Retention and Deletion

We retain data only as long as operationally necessary, and as required for legal, security, or billing purposes.

You can delete your account at any time from Personal Settings → Danger zone → Delete my account in the app. This permanently removes your profile, your appointments, todos, routines, groceries, your owned tribes (with their members, items, and messages), your notification preferences, and any connected calendar tokens. Some records may be retained briefly as required by law (e.g., billing receipts).

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

12. Children

The Service is intended for users age 13 and older.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date.
